Yesterday I've watched Flow and I loved it. The atmosphere is quiet and evocative of a bigger and non-intelligible world. The personality of each animal and their animations are so well created.

And the fact that, behind the scenes, it's all made in Blender and EEVEE makes it even more impressive.

My ancient marble collection ended up in Adobe's selection for the Substance Designer Insanity Awards this year. I'm in great company, wow!

I like Piranesi's etchings of the Emissary of Lake Albano, an 1800-meters long channel built 2400 years ago. You can feel his admiration for this giant ancient abandoned infrastructure

once again I like how the base color map turned into a little illustration!

A walk in Venice turned into this stylized material.

My first own model made with FreeCAD: my desk lamp. Switching from meshes to CAD is relaxing.

Ah, so this is that new STALKER game that everyone is talking about... seems cozy, might give it a try!

The sky is grey above the city that floats.

Unrelatedly, doing the Biennale in a few hours felt like going through contemporary art fast food 😵‍💫

The Biennale was fun

(writing the alt text of this photo was fun too)

The sky is blue above the city that floats.

Those fog volumes aren’t very convincing

I've assigned the "Call Asset Shelf Popover" shortcut to B instead of Shift+Spacebar, so that it is faster to call, like in ZBrush.

You can really feel that on Blender 4.3 sculpting performs so much better.

If you want to test this on your own artwork, just open on one tab Bluesky and on another the original image in your computer. Switch from one on the other and... the horror 🤐

Now you won't be able to unsee this anymore. I'm sorry!

/end of the thread, I hope this gets addressed eventually
November 20, 2024 at 8:25 AM
Every time you upload the same image screenshot from Bluesky, the colors get worse and worse :D
November 20, 2024 at 8:00 AM
I've already reported it through the form. More details on the tagging. On the left is the original image with the sRGB tag, on the right the image after upload.
November 20, 2024 at 7:56 AM
A thing that buggers me is that images on Bsky are not displayed correctly, as they lose their sRGB tag. On the left is a photo on Bsky, on the right the orig. Same on iOS.
Every image uploaded here is slightly faded out.

@bsky.app a lot of artists moved here, please make our images show right ❤️

I got the inspiration from some old overgrown tiles I saw in Perugia some days ago!
November 19, 2024 at 7:52 PM
To relax and get out of my comfort zone, I have created some stylized ancient tiles with Substance Designer. Very different from what I usually do, I've really enjoyed playing with colors.
