Hi! Found me here? Where did "Lester MacDade" came from?

"Lester" comes from a town near the Philadelphia Int'l Airport and from GTA V + Online. "MacDade" comes from a street name spanning Delaware County towns via SEPTA's Route 113 bus. It's the perfect alias for naming Persona protagonists too.
Game on and chill.

Happy Holidays boys and girls.

I'll be resting peacefully in bed. It's all I do every Christmas.

So, I've researched further about the new Steam Machine. At least the height of 2 or 3 mini PCs stacked, 4K capable, and better performance than the Steam Deck. Certainly a whole lot better than my aging Ryzen 7 2700X + RTX 3050 build.

Haven't Valve ever really thought of designing a Steam OS-powered mini PC instead? We now mini PCs running AMD hardware that runs much more better than the Steam Deck as of this post (Windows or Steam OS based).

And I could repurpose a Ryzen 7 mini PC to run Steam OS.

I'm physically and mentally tired pretty much every day and I still have to end up becoming a homebody a little bit longer. I just need rest...

Deprecating OneDrive, Google Drive, or other cloud storage online or had enough of AI and cloud data centers? Look into a NAS file server capable of RAID 1 at minimum and an external USB drive for backup. They are king and reliable than online cloud storage.

I finally got the MicroSD Express card for my Switch 2. Only 256GB but, I'm too financially strapped to get a bigger one. Better than nothing though.

This will be used to store Switch 2 games only and not on the console's system storage.

Cinematic Los Santos + me on selfies!

Look for me SCommuter on GTA Online Enhanced from Steam.

Watched the Nintendo Direct? Few highlights of my own interest are:

RE Requiem on Switch 2. Looks a lot more scarier than previous RE games I've played.

Gold editions of RE 7 and Village on Switch 2. Not cloud versions which is great because my Wi-Fi setup is trash.

Reworking this 7.5+ year old custom desktop build is a fuck'n nightmare after startup problems not starting Windows 11. I had to add in a new Wireless-AC card, a new AVerMedia capture card, and change out the M.2 SSDs. Had to remove/unplug SSDs to one (1TB one) to re-install Windows 11 Pro.

Good. Since AI is often trained on copyrighted content which can fall under copyright infringement (also not 1st Amendment protected), idiots advocating AI should get fucked in the ass.
AI advocates have warned that if every author in the class action filed a claim, it would "financially ruin" the entire industry.
Authors celebrate “historic” settlement coming soon in Anthropic class action
Advocates fear such settlements will “financially ruin” the AI industry.

I'd wouldn't even want my videos to be edited without consent, AI or otherwise. This is ruining video data integrity. When my videos get edited without consent, they're not to be trusted anymore. Just let videos uploaded allowed as is.
YouTube is secretly using AI to edit people's videos

• Skin is being smoothed or sharpened

• Features like ears are being altered

• YouTube confirmed there's an 'experiment' on Shorts to 'unblur' and 'improve' clarity

• There's currently no way to opt out

Wishing ill on people may be wrong but, in the era of UK Online Safety Act and EU Digital Services Act, it will be alarming to hear that Bluesky failed to remove hate speech attacking trans people. Theoretically, Bluesky can be at risk for sanctions and global turnover fines. Tip of the iceberg too.
NEW: Wondering what's up with Bluesky banning trans people who wish ill on J. K. Rowling?

@valorievandieman.bsky.social has been working to figure that out. Her story features quotes from @jessiegender.bsky.social and some very odd official comments from @safety.bsky.app, but no definitive answers.
Can You Wish Ill on J.K. Rowling On Bluesky? — Assigned
After a confusing few days of moderation, the trans community on Bluesky fears they’re being targeted for posts wishing ill on the anti-trans billionaire.

I don't do crypto. I don't do NFTs. All of them are tools for scams, money laundering, and financing of criminal activity and terrorism. Extremely serious issues. I wouldn't dare touch them with a 10 foot barge pole (to borrow a quote from GTA Online).

They're reportable as scams.

Got this game in physical cart with full game in it. No game keycard.

Endurance runs later?

I think it's time to move on to new, current platforms now.
August 7, 2025 at 4:20 AM
I think all of Switch 2 games announced on Nintendo Direct will be game key cards if you're going for physical carts as I heard. Switch 1 games announced will still have the full games on physical carts.

Watched the Nintendo Direct today. We're getting Persona 3 Reload. There's also Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac (great game remade from 23 years ago). I hope Namco put its classic arcade games on there as well.

Swapping AM4 heatsinks as maintenence. This is the main host desktop I have since 2018 during the time I graduated Peirce College. Today, it has seen better days but, still runs well now. It will remain in use as is for as long as it is still operable.

I don't think I would take part whatsoever.
Application creation is live for Nintendo Switch Online: Playtest Program. You'll still need to apply on July 21st, 8 AM PT (accepted on a first-come, first served basis. Up to 40k applicants) buff.ly/veiy17g

I'd rather enjoy life traveling around than being a homebody whenever I possibly can. I don't wanna waste time on social media peeking and games, TV, or streaming all day every day.

If history is any indication of how difficult it is to port games on current platforms like Atlus did for Persona 3 and 4 and not wanting to end up like GTA Triogy Definitive Edition, it's understandable why Sega won't port Sonic Adventure games. Would be nice though.
