Bravo, Harry.
OK sports fans, so this is my last bulletin for my position at @losangelestimes.bsky.social. I resigned yesterday in protest of the paper's and owner's cozying up to Trump. Here's my explanation on my substack, where I hope you will follow me going forward.

Jimmy Carter pardoned his brother Billy Carter who took over $200,000 from Libya as its foreign agent.

George H.W. Bush pardoned his son Neil Bush for his role in the S&L scandals of the 1980s.

Nobody thinks those pardons defined either presidency.

Joe Biden's pardon of Hunter Biden won't either.

President Biden's pardon of his son Hunter was proper & advances justice

Hunter was charged w/ crimes that no one not named Biden would’ve been prosecuted for—he deserved a no-jail plea & deserves a pardon now

There are going to be serval comments about the Hunter Biden pardon, but one thing is undeniable—Hunter would not have faced criminal charges in Delaware if his last name was not Biden.

An average American does not face those gun charges.
