Anyway, that one caught me a block but he seems like the type to stalk my mentions from an alt so here.

About 2100, but the distribution of those is where it gets interesting. This is over the last 3 days and excludes the large aggregator accounts that are upfront about what they are.
November 25, 2025 at 1:47 AM
*sigh* The vast majority of these are from a a dozen or two accounts that have been posting 100-500 links a day. More insidious, they have a network of accounts that repost them without ever posting a link themselves.

Yeah, the answer is technically it depends, but the way Ed and I are doing it, the color change has minimal impact.
November 24, 2025 at 5:20 AM
Unless I'm doing something very wrong, I don't think that's the case (though 225 is a slight overestimation), Orca gives me this. 3 color changes vs 170.

saving it for a reply also means that it's been deemed funny, providing me with much needed validation

Eh, I doubt this, though it's possibly that XTwitter may no longer be a useful or fruitful platform for influence operations targeting the left.

Anyway.

How on earth can you claim to be a product designer and outright dismiss what people like as a consideration?
November 23, 2025 at 8:18 PM
Looking at some of his other posts, I'm going to bet it wasn't malicious, rather I think he's using something kinda bugged as a client
November 22, 2025 at 8:37 PM
Looks like a variation on the facet mention exploit where you're "tagged" by a facet that's a length of 1.
November 22, 2025 at 8:30 PM
This plus an Obermeyer jacket and riding boots instead of work boots (and the cat eye is hard to see).
November 22, 2025 at 6:07 AM
Interestingly, the accounts that are mentioning hundreds of people in a single post through manipulation of the faceting system have migrated to 3rd party hosts.

I gave it a link to some documentation and asked it to generate an infographic showing how our quality assurance tools work together and it got it right in one shot (I have one minor quibble with the Phase A flow but it's not incorrect)

Chat uh

Yes, hahaha, yes!

You know what's not down due to the cloudflare outage? (now if only I'd downloaded a less basic model before the outage started)
November 18, 2025 at 1:29 PM
Surely there is a better way to do this?! Curl seems perfectly happy to hit query ollama on another machine, but when I try to use the ollama package or openAI api it refuses to connect.

And yes, it's not a firewall issue.

Discourse:

50 ml tequila
20 ml blue curaçao
15 ml lime juice

(It’s a standard margarita with curaçao as the orange liquor instead of triple sex so I could make this joke)

Just *sigh*

I’m not a strong climber but passing my ghost on the second half of the climb and PRing by over 13 minutes is pretty nice.

Tbh I was once the best-dressed man on Twitter, in like 2012.*

* For a certain value of “man” and if the Sundance catalogue is your aesthetic

The camera does HDR by default, I just didn't post them because I'm not as skilled at editing them and they render like crap for anyone without a screen that can display them!
November 12, 2025 at 4:14 AM
Better edit (masked the sky so I could brighten the foreground slightly)
November 12, 2025 at 4:00 AM
The sky is doing things rn. The ghost in the foreground is a guy walking his dog.
