The closest thing to this I know is how new franchise owners are given a manual so that each franchise are run exactly the same way for consistency. Like that, but for just the ENTIRE organization.

Complex work can be overwhelming. It’s overwhelming because you have to hold so many hypothesis and information in your head. Offload it to a written document.

Improve your mental ergonomics: create a document of stuff that you frequently look up. Like that link to that one repo, or an internal tool that takes you minutes to find. It all takes mental toll and adds up. If you’re fighting against your work even small things like this kills motivation
