(For non-public health people: This is the US contribution to the WHO-led identification and selection of flu strains for the next flu shot. There are other countries contributing. But US labs and expertise have always been a huge factor in the final agreement.)

I don't know who needs to know this, but Pro Publica has an online thing that will format a letter to your US health insurance company to demand the records behind a claim denial. (which the insurance is then legally required to provide in most cases)
