I call for the dismantling of Amazon.
COOL COOL COOL COOL.

you draw a nude fictional woman too short or you do sex work and you get debanked, but you plug enough CSAM into your ai training data that the NCMEC gets flooded with "more than 1 million reports of AI-related CSAM in 2025" and hey, thats just the cost of bizness bay bee
Amazon discovered a 'high volume' of CSAM in its AI training data but isn't saying where it came from
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children said it received more than 1 million reports of AI-related child sexual abuse material in 2025, with "the vast majority" stemming from Amazon.

I must not fedpost.

Fedposting is the mind-killer.

Fedposting is the little-death that brings total incarceration.

Greg Bovino's height was being sucked away to fuel this man's head
So I found out this is one of the ICE agents involved in this incident.

I had an anarchist ask about why AES countries don't abolish borders themselves.

Simple: imperialism is still here, and if they did, the imperial core would get in and infiltrate instantly.

Americans and Europeans have such a wacko POV, not realizing that AES countries must be defensive

Just a PSA for people, FreeTaxUSA is an excellent tool for filing taxes. Do not, I repeat, do not give your money to TurboTax. They lobby congress to keep tax filings difficult and inflate their prices to make it more expensive.

FreeTaxUSA.com is about as good as it gets today.

This is fucking appalling. This is university-administrators’-heads-should-roll appalling.
The college at which I'm employed, which has signed a contract with the AI firm that stole books from 131 colleagues & me, paid a student to write an op-ed for the student paper promoting AI, guided the writing of it, and did not disclose this to the paper. www.thedartmouth.com/article/2026...
College approached and paid student to write op-ed in The Dartmouth
The Dartmouth ran the article on Nov. 17 without knowledge that the College had been involved.

The fact that people are trying to defend this obviously AI modified image is so baffling.

Between the head missing, the left arm angle, the right arm going into his stomach, the standing man on the right having a balaclava that seems to have a bangs slot, the man in the middles gun...

Okay, been thinking more about running Draw Steel in the future.

While I'm still really thinking about keeping a 1920s vibe, I'm thinking of how the different ancestries and cultures might be different.

I got slightly into custom mechanical keyboards, I bought a couple and basically just have one that I use and really love.

But keyboard people don't like it because I use silent switches.

But my friends online like it because I use silent switches.

I love/hate tech news channels in the US and UK, because they'll laugh at the rise of Linux as a silly impossibility, note that Windows and Apple both have been on a small downward trend, and assume that the west is the only market.

The minute I saw his original video I was like "Oh he's either a community and committed to fighting fascism... OR he's straight up just a violent psychopath and has credible accusations against him"
Aaaand he's milkshaked he is DUCKED
do not disavow or condemn the statement in general, however looking into his past this man is a fucking shitstain.

i disavow and condemn him personally.

Gah, still absolutely love the Null class in Draw Steel.

I always loved monks in D&D, but they always required so much for me to enjoy it, with different editions having varying levels of fun.

But Draw Steel? I'm just happy with the Null in all capacities (metakinetics is my fave).

John Leguizamo: "I have real problem with this movie Alina of Cuba and the character of Fidel Castro!"

Me: "Oh, God, he's gonna pull some anti-communist stuff now?"

John Leguizamo: "Don't cast James Franco! He's not Latin! Come on! There are lots of Latin actors!"

Hell yeah John

I own many TTRPG books, from rules centered books that focus on the system, as well as several that are about a certain setting.

I actually attempt to cull these whenever I move, because I like to travel light.

But there are just some that are too important to me.

After months of hard work and many evenings giggling as I turned wacky kobold prompts into stat blocks, I'm thrilled to announce that version 1.0 is ready!

If you got it on Itch, you can download the new version from the Itch page. If you got it on Backerkit, a download email should go out soon. 🧵

A fascinating symptom of capitalism is that the bourgeoisie who profit off of the system become so out of touch from humanity, in their circles where they laugh about human rights abuses, and they own the media, so you have things like this.

Look, if you had a party scheduled at your house, and the pipes broke and the floor was covered in raw sewage, you’d tell your friends not to come over.

In that spirit: world, skip the World Cup until we get this sewage worked out. And don’t be too sure about the Olympics.

"Some kinda commie? You paid by the CCP?"

Me: "First of all, it's CPC. Second of all no! Of course not. I wouldn't take their money."

"Well that's good."

Me: "Now if Vietnam wanted to reach out..."

So, I basically have to go in an fix this Hugo website to be compliant with ADA, and Jesus, the person who made this didn't know what they were doing.

Granted, I also don't know what I'm doing, but I know enough not to make multiple main landmarks in the same page.

So, I've been happily using OpenSUSE on my laptop for several years now, to the point that I, frankly, hate having to use Windows when I'm at work.

There's still one or two pieces of software that I need emulation for in my life, luckily @codeweavers.com gets one of them running perfectly.
