6 days of field work and likely the last until my next position. It's nice to get out of the office once in a while and relive why I chose this career path. It's also always a great time when working with the CFAAS crew at SIU.

Our invasive carp tagging event on the Wabash River wasn't as successful as we would have liked (45 out of 215 planned), but we did find some sturgeon!

Good afternoon, freshwater, fisheries, large-river, and/or algae researchers! How was your field season? Here in the Midwestern U.S., it was very dry - making it hard to get in some areas.
