We love a walk on the beach for the first day of the year.

🧶 The Spite Sweater is coming along! The pine trees more or less look like pine trees, and I’ve finally gotten to the third color! I think my goal is to have it wearable by St Patrick’s Day.
The yoke of a sweater sits on top of a grey blanket. The sweater is mostly a light green, with a darker green pine tree pattern in a circle around the neck. At the edge, a light grey color is just starting to be added between the trees. Yarn in all three colors is coming out the bottom of the project.

🧶 started a sweater yesterday mostly out of spite against the knitting group I hung out with Wed. who spent the whole time complaining about how they NEVER buy acrylic yarn & how much it sucks like dang, sorry you’re all rich old ladies but those of us on teacher salaries buy what we can afford!

Merry Christmas to me! My old gloves fell apart on me as I was on my way out the door to head to family, so I just finished making myself a #crochet replacement!

Happy #WIPWednesday ! I’m down to just two WIPs, so here’s my travel project. As soon as I saw this yarn, I immediately thought of this “Silk Waves” shawl pattern.

Here’s a little snippet of my #WIPWednesday #crochet projects. The whale shark (pattern by Amidorable) needs eyes, some white speckling, ends sewn in, and a little help with its current case of Floppy Fin Disease. Cow just needs back legs and eyes!
