When did it become normal to play things that are loud in public? Someone is at gymnastics playing a countdown game with beepers. It is making my PTSD go insane.

I've been trying to figure out a story that I read as a child for AGES. I think I've narrowed it down to a story in Highlights that is based on The Tiny Kite of Eddie Wing. It is a story where a child has an assignment in class to design a kite & uses his imagination for all sorts of ideas (1/2)

Just found out my great uncle passed away. He'd been in hospice for awhile, but didn't know he'd turned THAT corner. So, I'm shocked, but not shocked.

I don’t care what side of the aisle you are on - if you see a person - especially a woman —getting dragged out for doing nothing but talking by a group of men- and you do NOtHING? You helped whatever horrible thing happened to her happen next, happen. Bystander effect is real.

Well, kid 1 lucked out - he printed up fliers for paid snow shovelling a month ago with a buddy and now they’re raking in, sorry shovelling up, the $!! Proud of him, it’s a cool moment when you make your first real $ from your head and your work!!

My son's class has their Valentine's Day party today. On the bags, they each wrote a compliment to each other. You are kind, you are good at soccer. My 8 year old got "You've got the best zombie voice."

Our very old dog, a rescue & was old when we got him 6 years ago, is rapidly declining. Does anyone know when is the time? I think we are too attached. Does your vet help you make the choice? How much going inside the house is too much? He throws up sometimes. I think he's happy? He cuddles a lot?

I went into #helloskip 's live grant watch manifesting that today was the day I'd win a $1,000 grant. I wanted to get either a new iPad for my LEGO camp or upgrade my laptop. Instead, I won $1,000 in credit to their platform! Still amazing! #manifesting isn't usually my thing, but did it just work?
