The question I'd be looking to answer is: did all of the violence just switch targets, and are killings of persons of color lower or higher overall?
This is not to discount the black experience; I wonder if (am afraid that) black experience is being widened to other persons of color at this point.

And explicitly banned Roblox the minute I looked at it a decade ago. I have maintained that ban with two kids and the more I see about it, the happier I am with that decision.

So much this. The world sucks, and superheros are supposed to make it BETTER.
Watchemen was great for deconstructing the genre, but it sure as fuck wasn't a goddamn BLUEPRINT for how every superhero comic should be for the next 40 years!

ooh, I liked the two of her TOS novels I read when I was a kid a LOT. They really expanded Trek beyond the bridge crew and were concerned with people on the Lower Decks. "Battlestations!" and "Dreadnought!" if I recall correctly..
