Took 3426 on her first road trip of sorts today, going 40 miles from Frederick to Elkridge to get her air conditioning repaired. It is quite clear that she was used to the Lowcountry, though she got over the hills well enough. #carta3426 #buses #cartabus #elkridge #airconditioning #thermoking

We didn't do too badly today. We had a little work session with 3426 today, getting some of the gunk off of the exterior. I removed almost all of the remaining wrap on the front and left side of the bus, while Elyse tackled the front wheels. #carta3426 #busrestoration

Had a great day. Got my bus, former CARTA 3426, back from the shop today, and took her for a spin around Frederick on something of a shakedown test. She runs well, which means that I can now focus on other parts of the restoration project, plus have fun with buses whenever I want. 😁
