Regardless of one's opinion regarding the efficacy or utility of the USAID network of programmes, it will only reflect poorly and foolishly upon the People of the USA if these foodgoods go to waste. The Title II Food for Peace programme is a crowning achievement of American Agriculture.

Lunchtime Report Reading.

A simple, six-page advisory notice. It is interesting to catch a glimpse of a few more cogs working behind the scenes. A point of this advisory that caught me eye is the possibility of spoilage of food rations.

There are symbols of stories left behind all over this rock, we just need the Eye to notice them and the Quill to get them started in our minds.

A glimpse of the Aer Lingus fleet and the Dublin sky.
In addition, today's creative process.

Finally putting this year's Staff Pass to use.

First grocery of 2025. A calm outing in the beautiful desert morn. It is disheartening to see flags at half mast, I wish there were other ways to remind these lands to be wonderful to each other. Here is to improvements to come in this new year.

And now, officially, the notebook shorthand sees its annual alteration.

My small plate is piling high to Hobbitonian elevations. The charcuterie board my mother and I co-constructed only a quarter hour earlier is demolished in seconds. Billy Wilder's "The Apartment" (1960) has begun playing on the television.

The New Year's Eve celebrations have officially begun.

After years of scholarly digging, I have finally unearthed a job suited to my skill set.

Weekend continues with the arrival of Issue Number 30 of Death to the World. They even gave a sticker to go alongside it. Having pre-ordered back in July, I am quite excited to read through it as the advent season begins.

Just a few days back, I finished up this title I had seen around a few times but did not quite assume properly what it would be like. I was not expecting Mr. Donohue to be so vocally pro-union, really showed a bit of the economic vibrancy and reality of what our merchant marines lived and gave us.

I have a curious feeling today that Mr. Guthrie having a Merch tab in Spotify is something Mr. Guthrie would be saddened to hear.

Finished this up on a quiet assignment this week. I've yet to see the HBO series, but this was eye-opening regarding the psychological struggles and situations facing the Marines of last generation's war.

I was looking at the speaker list for the event (unfortunately, I cannot attend) and was initially confused by the listing they gave you until this video mentioned Oxygen Plus. However, I still do not think the list accurately reflects your upcoming appearance.

Reading in the library and realizing it is sometimes easy to take for granted the sea of information available at our fingertips. Even amidst all the noise online, well-researched-and-written policy reports, the very ones guiding the Empire of Liberty no less, are available just two clicks away.

Have an overnight excursion to Los Angeles today. During my walks, crossed by the fourth home to the L.A. Times, where the newspaper was headquartered from 1935-2018. Though de stad shows its youthfulness with frequency, it certainly managed to accomplish some beauty in its time.

Fifth Generation Warfare causes Tragedy to resemble Comedy. This is not how I would expect a conversation to go. The following four responses are all ':(' in some form.

Teshigahara's "Woman in the Dunes" (1964) translates Abe's absurdist novel flawlessly to film. After six hours in a cafe today, I caught a showing of it.

We are all sentenced to something in this life, but we choose how to serve the time.

Normally do not share my writings here, but I would like to write more and social pressure helps. I am also confounded at myself for managing to quote my previous post from Bluesky within the piece - how fun:

"Declaration of Independence" by John Trumbull (1818).

I always enjoyed finding American $2 bills for this very painting. It was quite sometime later that I learned of the British spoils of war adorning the far wall, as they are not depicted on the bill itself.
