Talked to so many people who were at the first protests of their lives today. Ex-Republicans, introverts, 90-year-olds and 3-year-olds. This was at an intersection in a 60,000 person town. Haven’t felt hope like this in my life.

Yes! It’s disgraceful to have some Dems claiming the fight for due process and human life is a distraction. Either we have a moral code or we don’t. We can, and should, fight more than one seismic battle at once.
Rep. Jason Crow: "You know what I think the right thing, politically, to do is? Actually just do the right thing. If we do the right thing and we defend people, if we defend the innocent, if we defend our democracy, the politics tend to take care of themselves."

Same! Even if Target reversed course on DEI, started selling BLM pajama sets, and filled their stockrooms with transgender mice, I have no need to return.
I'm kind of amazed at how easy it was to simply cut Target out of our lives. We went from going probably twice a month for over a decade to cold-turkey quitting and we never felt a thing. Thanks for showing us how little you matter, Target!
The divergence here from two companies with *very* similar customer bases is pretty wild, you do not see this sort of thing happen at scale very often.
