You're wrong on the jungle primary. The current system crushes progressives when unenrolled GOP leaning voters vote for the most conservative Democrat in a September primary. This eliminates the second place (progressive) in the primary, setting up a race against a sacrificial GOP candidate.

You are talking about Chapter 505 of the Acts of 1980, a law granting easements for the construction of the tail track from Alewife to Thorndike Field. Cusack tacked on Section 16, which prohibited planning west of that point. Rep. Garballey and Sen. Friedman are working on its appeal. #ArlingtonMA

Arlington is a self-governing urban neighborhood.
In most US metro areas, we would be part of the central city.

Not yet. However the City of Medford approved relocating the stop and the @mbta.com says the relocation is in the Fall 2025 construction contract.

My sense is an offensive against the tail track wouldn't gain any traction from the legislature. Cusack's legislative effort at this point was a quiet session law that prohibited planning or construction beyond the end of the tail track at Thorndike Field.

Trump the builder?
Nope. No desire to build trains, or anything else for that matter. He just wants to be the building custodian for South Station and Washington Union Station.

There's an extensive history of the bus and streetcar routes posted online. Once you get to the document, search on Five Forks and Turkey Hill for the full history.
