Sounds like exactly the same divide between those in my network who work for elite tech companies and those who any other job in any other sector. Normal people are like, “I don’t need or want this but for some reason it’s everywhere now?”

It’s a complicated feeling to support an open library like LibGen and wholly condemn Meta using it to train their AI, but we know their model will never be open source and free, so it’s a clear example of stealing from the poor to feed the rich.
