Whats funniest to me is just that it's so much easier to calculate these things correctly. They're doing a bunch of clown vector math and getting a trash result. So it doesnt even have the "simple tutorial" defense like some of the godot examples.

This one is even worse... yellow line is the raw keyboard input, blue line is character velocity... lets see how it handles a key release...

Yeah as far as I can tell theyre totally self contained, so reverse order seems like a good way to play them. Knowing ur way around the combat system will probably smooth over the difficulty spikes and bad onboarding, which are the biggest issues that keep people from getting into Coven of Dusk

The first one has more or less the exact same combat system but less polished w some undeniable pacing+balance issues. Its also about exploring a sealed labyrinth using dolls, but the framing narrative packs a very satisfying half-game twist that ratchets the stakes up, so im expecting big things.

Just started this game on ps5 the night before last. Enjoying it a lot so far! Im rly hoping the story will get as fucked up and twisted as the first game.

It's been one of the best contracting experiences I've ever had, and I'm rly grateful to have been involved so deeply in bringing this beautiful baby to the finish line.

Dont stress, it's just one "slice". Actual human perception is many slices (many of u looking way hotter) and alos a sort of mental smoothing algorithm where ppl insert a lot of unrelated personal associations, so in other words u look better irl.
