I sort of forgot that BlueSky existed. It’s funny how nothing after Twitter ever sticks long in my memory. Perhaps the very idea of communication in this abbreviated, pithy, shitty “microblogging” form was a bad idea from the start.

It sadly feels like this buy nothing stuff today is going to be more productive as a way for self-righteous people to criticize folks already on our side than it will be making any kind of real impact on the corporations that need affecting.

I took a crossword construction class a while back with the puzzle editor, @xws.bsky.social, so happy to see her hand in it. Liking it so far, might subscribe.

I can't tell if the spate of film/series about billionaires is motivated by genuine attempts to wrestle with income inequality or are being greenlit because the folks who hold the purse strings think any visibility will make their handlers happy? Or maybe production designers want to buy cool stuff?
