the flippant tone—like they were talking about sports betting.

Or the open contempt
they showed for our European allies.

The worst part is this:
Yemen is being bombed.
And almost no one is talking about it.

But it makes sense if his goal is to copy Russia, where the economy is run by a few loyal oligarchs. That would be hard in a large economy with too many actors who can oppose him. So he’s accelerating concentrating money and power into the hands of his loyalists while he crashes the rest out.

Ukraine is in this fight, not because they want to be, but because they have to be. At a time when democracy is under assault globally, the choice is simple: stand with those fighting for it or bow to those who seek to destroy it. Trump and Vance have made their choice crystal clear.

Trump and his cronies are not interested in facts or history. They are pandering to the worst instincts of isolationism and authoritarian appeasement, regurgitating Kremlin talking points while undermining America’s credibility on the world stage.

They are fighting and dying to defend their country and to prevent Putin’s expansionist ambitions from threatening Europe and beyond. If anything, it is the United States that should be grateful—to Ukraine—for holding the line against authoritarian aggression.

They smeared Ukraine with blatant lies, twisted the origins of the war to blame the victim, and pushed Putin’s propaganda while pretending Ukraine is somehow ungrateful for the support it has received.

Instead of standing with a democratic ally fighting for its survival, Trump and Vance chose to berate & demean President Zelenskyy in the most aggressive, undiplomatic, immature way possible.
