Appeal to authority, but there's nothing obviously wrong with his heater per stuff models, at least wrt 2024 vs 2025. Nothing pops on arsenal metrics either.

the other thing I ought to point out is that those metrics in the article might be from AA/A+, not AAA - but you can see it's not that big a sample size

I think the thing is that Adley probably wants something closer to 7/$125M (i.e., ~$20M AAV during FA years) because he's currently hitting free agency at age 30, and a 5-yr extension would make him a free agent at age 33, giving away his final (likely) productive years
