In summary, watching V/H/S is like playing the horror lottery. Every short isn't going to be a winner, so when one stands out, it's special. Each short is different artists working with limited time and budgets. The fact any of these are good is a testament to their passion and love of the genre.

The best V/H/S segment. Embodies the idea that these are normal tapes that caught something extranormal. Hannah Fierman's acting tells us so much about this character that the script tells us very little about. Some iconic lines and a very scary ending.

It's amazing how much plot and character this segment has given the runtime. It never feels rushed. Genuinely scary. Epy Kusnadar gives a terrifying and convincing performance as this cult leader. The characters are distinct and fleshed out. Just terrific!

It's amazing how much plot and character this segment has given the runtime. It never feels rushed. Genuinely scary. Epy Kusnadar gives a terrifying and convincing performance as this cult leader. The characters are distinct and fleshed out. Just terrific!

Fun size! I've been obsessed since it came out. Such a fun character. The story hits the perfect balance between scary and funny, delivering very creative kills. It fits the Halloween theme well. Fun Size is definitely my Halloween costume next year!

A chilling segment. Maybe the best screenlife story I've seen, it's so natural. Yes, the entities in the apartment are creepy, but the gaslighting and manipulation revealed at the end is what makes it so scary.
