The thing is, while they're not right about a lot of things, vegans are actually correct that our industrial food system is wildly exploitative and unsustainable. But their weird black and white thinking helps keep better practices from being widely adopted.

Maybe you prefer sitting in front of a screen all day having most of the product of your labour going towards billionaires' yachts and a militarized police state over working with your hands to plant or build things that help your community, but I've done both and I know which I prefer

Meanwhile, Reuters is blaming “a CNBC report” in its official copy. I can tell you that’s false. CNBC on air didn’t say one word about this until markets had rallied into positive territory and they were initially baffled about it.
