He’s floating the possibility of a “tariff rebate,” but what he’s actually doing is a set up for when the Supreme Court rules that the tariffs are illegal, and he needs to return the money. It’s to make himself look like a hero when he actually just loses in court.

I remember when DOGE defunded USAID and it destroyed 500 tons of food rather than feed the hungry, and his supporters didn’t bat an eye. Now many of them are not getting SNAP benefits. So I guess it was fine, as long as someone else was hungry.

Well, since he is trying to end birthright citizenship, you couldn’t rely on a birth certificate. A passport requires a birth certificate, so I guess that would be void also. Will everyone need to present immigration/naturalization papers from their ancestors? Or just the brown people?
