Fog hangs low over the lake obscuring everything except the closest trees on a small island just ahead. The soft reflection in the water is a perfect mirror to the standing trees and all else is quiet grayness.

I’m not sure if I love fall or spring more. They’re like the opposite but also the same.

Morning walk on the best Sunday of the year. Lots of people curse the clock reset since it will now get dark earlier. (Or rather, on time, but that’s a whole other argument.)
