Yeah the overarching plot is broadly straightforward but if you engage with it even just a little bit, you realize how many interesting ideas these narratives explore. Like Stephen lang has gone from an alien-hating cartoon general, to a semi-alien who loves a gun-fetishizing alien.

That’s art

Can you point to any examples where you or others have successfully “combatted dangerousness”?

Any single verifiable example will do

"recrimination" is an accusation in response to an accusation

This is a straightforward accusation that Democratic leadership is spineless and unable to "unite" let alone lead this fight.

The voters did our part, now we're told to wait quietly for our party to stand for something

come on now

Thanks! I definitely understand where you’re coming from

Also I did want to apologize for how pushy I was getting after I reread over what we talked about. I think I hyper-fixated on the discourse and lost the plot a bit

Regardless, I hope you have a good one!

No one is forcing you to engage in conversations about anything. I truly don't think it's entitled of me to simply ask for context. But again you are more than welcome to ignore me or others
October 14, 2025 at 11:49 PM
And the point is, if some stuff bugged you, it's entirely possible it bugged me too or it would and I missed it, but when there's hundreds of hours of podcasts you have to understand that not everyone is able to catch everything

What's the point of making vague references on a public forum if you aren't expecting people to ask you to elaborate?

I have only tried to sincerely understand what's happening and your perspective in good faith but every time you have shut down the conversation
October 14, 2025 at 11:38 PM
Can you please say what he said that bugged you?

You say you don't like being disrespected which I can respect, but I think it's fair to ask for the same in return. You responded to me earlier w/ "Search Taran and misogyny" and turned off comments

I searched, and only found the Maggie reference

Everyone is fallible but I've sen a lot of vague assertions claiming certainty while refusing to provide evidence. Like do you happen to remember when that happened or who said it?

Without anything tangible to go off, it can be frustrating to understand where these arguments are coming from.
October 14, 2025 at 11:23 PM
Totally fair, can you at least give me a rough idea or point me in the right direction? I’m having trouble finding anything specific
October 14, 2025 at 8:29 PM
We talked about how he portrayed Ashley’s game and disagreed about “active” she was but I don’t think anything specific about how he talked about Morgan came up
October 14, 2025 at 8:22 PM
What did Taran say?
October 14, 2025 at 8:17 PM
Totally understandable!

I understand that, just explaining I think people are being hyper defensive a week into post-season. I've seen a lot of fans/feed watchers debate what's defined as luck/moves/game impact and was offering a thought because I genuinely had a differing opinion after seeing that post in its context.
October 6, 2025 at 9:09 PM
Gotcha! I think that initial post was unclear at first read. Personally I thought she was very active but I don't need to get into the subjective weeds of "active" vs "passive" games. I think folks are just maybe overprotective with how casuals overemphasize comp wins/didn't see much of Ash's game
October 6, 2025 at 8:55 PM
I was referencing your tweet when you do say you didn't feel she made real moves (I also read the context)

Again totally fair way to feel but I was just offering my 2 cents that she had multiple moves/effects on the game driven by her active intentional gameplay, which I'd define as agency
October 6, 2025 at 8:38 PM
The meaning of the Judges was expresssly to get Rylie out while keeping Morg as a number (Vince by extension) for the short term. After that yes Morgan pushed it to the end, with Ash feeding into it to retain influence post-white locust

but regardless that is a "real move" you said she didn't have
October 6, 2025 at 8:28 PM
That doesn't happen without Ashley having agency via the social connections that she identified were necessary for her game and worked hard to develop based on her reads of the house/overall strategy
October 6, 2025 at 8:18 PM
You're welcome to your opinion but to me agency isn't just gained by being in power via comps. I'd argue the formation of the Judges in itself is a real move that had a greater impact on the game than most other players managed
October 6, 2025 at 8:17 PM
not before Chelsie quote tweeted it saying she'd address it... tomorrow
October 2, 2025 at 11:54 PM
commending such an obvious dog whistle is certainly a choice
September 12, 2025 at 4:34 PM
You can see in the mirror she doesn’t really change her position or where she’s looking when she says it
