It was a good rainbow, and then it kept getting longer and more vivid, as did the sibling.

On yet another UP-N train, hauling empty cars. The car I'm in has at least one butt in every seat, so another car would be appreciated.

Some wonderful motivational art recently showed up in my neighborhood.

I like that this project uses bike racks which both look nice and are functional.

"Canceled due to reason of canceled." You really have to appreciate the efficiency of Chicago's 311 App.

After several years of increasing costs, and decreasing usefulness, I finally let my Divvy membership lapse. At ~$140/year, I would need to take a lot of rides to justify the cost, and the lack of bikes and open docks makes that very unlikely to happen.

Dropped most of the cost of a new bike on my old bike. It's taken a year or so for me to accept that this was what I should do, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Cosmic Bikes does some good work, check them out if you're in the market for touring or touring-ajacent bikes and accessories.

Cleaning out a cubicle at work, and I came across this relic. I'm now trying to think when I last had a work computer with any external drive, let alone a floppy drive.

Planning for a trip, which obviously means getting a transit pass. While I'm a fan of any tappable card, the design on Pittsburgh's is underwhelming.

Also of note: the agency rebranded to PRT in the summer of '22, but they're still issuing these Port Authority of Allegheny County branded passes.

I'm very happy that your local team won, and I hope you're enjoying it, but I also have to point out that this victory parade of parking lots is really sad. Don't you have a downtown somewhere they could party in?
