Still waiting for someone to write a comprehensive piece about de facto affirmative action for conservatives in clerkships and the legal profession

Been searching the internet for someone as annoyed as me about this

Any good suggestions on policies these states can adopt to encourage warehouse solar? (e.g., requiring solar on new warehouse builds)

~100 billion for 3 GW of nuclear. I wonder how much solar and storage you could build for ~100 billion.

I love your work and have learned an extraordinary amount from it, but I don't think you're making sense here. If you essentially tell people that they should abandon hope, of course some will take that as a reason to stop fighting. More importantly, don't abandon hope!

But they didn't need cap space for brown, since he signed at the minimum. Not sure how much space they have now, but they better get something good with it since they gave up the better player and a pick.

I don't get this for Denver. Does this free up cap space? Bruce brown is on a minimum, right?

This is true across many professions! In the legal field, it's far easier to get clerkships and other prestigious jobs as a fed soc member because it's a much smaller pool. Still waiting for someone to write the definitive account of right-wing affirmative action in law, govt, etc.

I'm reading abundance right now and it seems like they're calling for the kind of state investment that was... the entire focus of Biden's presidency (IRA, CHIPS, IIJA)? Weird thing to basically ignore. It's like the left being mad about the green new deal when Build Back Better was the same thing.

Isn't the endangerment finding codified in the IRA? Are they just counting on being able to push this change through Congress as well? (Sorry if this is covered, I don't have WaPo)

Thanks! Agree that they are a big step forward from plug-in hybrids regardless.

How does the mpg of an EREV running on the gas generator compare to the mpg of a similarly sized ICE vehicle?

You thinking of Aaron Sorkin?
