I would say he has declined 600 or 700 percent. Some people say 1400 percent. No one has ever seen such declines. They say it took George Washington almost 250 years to decline as much. Huge decline.

Republicans are putting the lives of trans children at risk and getting in the way of families making personal decisions for their own children.

We should be HELPING these kids survive and thrive — but Republicans would prefer to use them as a political prop.

In Charlotte, NC, Border Patrol raided a church, tried to arrest the same U.S. citizen twice within five minutes, and scared families so much that thousands of kids were kept out of school.

In WA and OR, we’ve seen people kidnapped from preschools and daycares.

It’s disgusting.

I find bewildering the push by many to focus on reaching out voters who believe different things from Dems rather than trying to motivate voters who believe the same things as Dems but who for one reason or another didn't vote, don't regularly vote, etc. I'm sure there is a great wisdom behind this.

Florida now likely bears more liability from propping up its homeowners insurance market than it carries in state debt.

I'm tired of people suggesting this woman is not or can't be a true Dem leader. She speaks for the whole party and for the vast majority of Americans better than almost every other politician out there. We need leaders. She's one.
Hayes: There are some people I have seen who who have the following theory: Schumer is worried about a primary challenge from you

AOC: This is so not about me in this moment. This is about people being able to insure their children.

Absolutely right. Dem leaders shunning Mamdani, blaming the left for the problems of the party, resisting generational change, are out of touch, buying into oldthink about "moderation" that is really surrender, serves big money interests at the expense of the people & won't win/energize new voters.

Who would have thought that in the face of the greatest national crisis since the Civil War, one threatening freedom of expression itself, the legacy media in this country would fold like a house of cards?

Raises a very real question about who should be Speaker if Dems win the midterms. It will be a moment requiring strong, forward-thinking leadership. This is not that.
Hakeem Jeffries again declines to endorse Zohran Mamdani, saying "I don't know him well."

CHRIS HAYES: Why are you not endorsing the guy that won the democratic primary in a contested election in your backyard?

JEFFRIES: I didn't get involved in that primary election, and I don't know him well.

Absolutely right. The scandal is not that we have a New York mayoral candidate who is critical of the Israeli government, it is that the criticism is not unanimous from every leader, from every American. Our government supports these crimes. They all must be held accountable.

It’s disturbing that Justice Jackson was left to dissent alone from this legally reckless, constitutionally wrongheaded, and procedurally indefensible use of the Court’s emergency powers. History will vindicate her courageous if lonely stand against this outrage.

Trump and Republicans’ big, ugly bill could increase the country’s medical debt by $50 billion. Some families’ medical debt could increase by over $20,000 due to the lack of coverage.

And it’s all to finance tax cuts that overwhelmingly help the rich.

Reverse Robin Hood.

My question for all the Dem's expressing outrage at the treatment of Padilla is, "Yes, and...?"

Responding to fascism with the floor speeches and press releases that barely make a dent in a functioning democracy is criminal fecklessness and dereliction of duty.
