Gay wolf/otter thing that happens to play music (poorly). He/they/dog. 22. Howling at the blue sky sometimes. Waf :)
That's crazy to me cause I found it more enjoyable my second playthrough because I liked exploring the world a lot more when it didnt feel so vast and confusing as it did as a kid. The combat and movement is terrible but the game was fun to explore

I just spammed production when I have extra wood. But also Im never quite sure how much to invest in military with the military schools of the ottomans..... I just stall in castle getting everything up and running lmao

No one can convince me that as a long term choice with the vizier point that the trade network is better than Twin minirets. Only works as a timing push which im at lmao

I resolve to never lose to a French knight rush again as ottomans after discovering anatolian hills into extensive fortifications for a fast castle to janissary. No need to spend a billion resources on spear men or military school until that point

But its so satisfying watching the French knight just get melted from million miles away after getting harassed for 10 minutes. Also clutch extensive fortifications, so good for doing work against the knights so you arent shit out of luck

Than a bad stack overflow search bot for boiler plate code. Until then the 2 extra minutes to think about stock code that actually doesnt work for my case for some strange reason is worth it entirely. The friction isn't unnecessary, its what keeping us from accidentally from running off a cliff.

And I simply refuse to stop giving a shit and letting AI decide for me regardless of the proteststions of any tech bro telling me I need to be vibe coding more. Until AI can tell me exactly how every step works and properly argue why it fits the task im working on I dont see it being useful as more

Maybe the market for people who dont really care is massive and this will go be commercially successful but I see this being a detriment the same way US car dependency was to our detriment despite how frictionless owning a car is (relative to how much friction not having a car has).

Than the friction of using public transport. AI makes the grand assumption that I give so little of a shit about anything that im willing to accept whatever it decides with no thought. That I would be unwilling to think about a purchase before hand. That I dont want to see my calendar.

Clever design hides the friction and wait times, but they still exist. Even in the real world people dont really want to wait in traffic. But the US is designed to be frictionless for car users, so people use cars. NYC makes a congestion fee and all the sudden the friction of the fee is more

Except you probably dont really want it. Just like you didn't really want to delete that file. So we sent it to the recycling bin, which is friction. If you dont want friction, you havr to compromise immediacy. You didnt really want to type that sentence. So we saved the old version for you to undo.
