Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakow died on this day 117 years ago on June 21st in 1908.
Although this famous piece “Flight of the Bumblebee” 🐝 is not an original for us, I like to play this version for demonstrating circular breathing. Günther Beugel gave it to me.
I am still trying to get better on this.

Takashi Yoshimatsu was born on this day 72 years ago on March 18th. Happy birthday!

1991 Yoshimatsu wrote this here played "Fuzzy Bird Sonata" for alto sax and piano (here with Fritz Walther) I guess Takashi Yoshimatsu is good friends with the grandious Nobuya Sugawa.

Born in Stockholm, lived, studied & died there. 1958 he wrote his concerto for saxophone and Orchestra for the famous Sigurd Rascher.
