I'm pretty positivite this game is going to be incredible. 700+ scanned clay models, awesome art direction, playable in VR. This game can truly be considered as a work of art. Beautiful stuff! I hope it sells like crazy. I'm buying it for sure ❤️

Look at that! This man is making an actual PS1 game with some crazy effects, modern controls, and cutscenes. From what I've read, this genius of a man reverse-engineered SH and applied the same fog effect, doing the same for some of the lighting by reverse-engineering RR Type 4. Man... I love it!
Peak PS1 graphics achieved.

One of my beloved childhood games was Pang! the Amiga version. It's identical to the arcade version but with much better music and sound effects. The music is fantastic, by the way. Playing it on PVM-14L4 using Minimig running on MiSTer FPGA. Timeless classic!

I'm looking forward to Black Finger Jet from the OG team that created Metal Slug, but man... I really wish it were fully hand-drawn. The mix of 3D backgrounds and Metal Slug-like 2D characters isn't that appealing to me. Although I understand that it's less time-consuming and easier to develop.

This game looks absolutely freaking sick! The UI, the transition to gameplay, volumetric clouds, everything. Jan is a genius. If I'm not mistaken, this is a one-man job, all coded in C# based on the Monogame framework. Impressive as hell! @zooltar.bsky.social would approve :D

Turrican trivia time! 😆 In a German magazine, Amiga Games, a pre-release developer journal showed Mario and Sonic frozen in carbonite after the first miniboss. But they didn’t appear in the final release of the game . Years later, in 2019, they were brought back in the Director's Cut version.

Downwell might be one of my favorite arcade games of all time. Dense, immediate gameplay, 3 buttons to control, addictive as hell. This is peak game design. It also feels incredible to play on the PS Vita. TATE mode rules ;) @devolverdigital.com
