we're getting all the downsides of cyberpunk (social alienation, ruthless hyper capitalism, digital mass surveillance state) but none of the promised upsides (cheap street food, cool jackets, super drugs that make you really fast and strong before they kill you)

Confirmed. What’s more, as kids (I have a brother) we’d get attached to the fish, we fed it, petted it, shared our toys with it. And then on December 24th around 2 pm our father would sneak into the bathroom, and a minute later loud chopping with a cleaver could be heard from the kitchen.

I bought the Switch on launch day in the spring of 2017 along with Breath of the Wild. I put a solid 60 hours into the game back then, but I didn’t finish it. I came back to it years later and completed the adventure. It’s certainly one of the best I’ve ever played 🥰
