We need a shift away from Russian oil to reduce their fossil fuel revenue (250bn EUR) to undermine their defence spending (140bn EUR). @tpellerincarlin.bsky.social explained shifting to e-mobility helps do this... "The EU Green Deal is Putin's kryptonite"!

Important point made by @mliebreich.bsky.social that "costs should not be confused with investments... you get money back on investments"... we are very close to peak emissions, but when freight is 45% of growing transport emissions, changes must be made.
