this is all it’s really about for them. Not domestic policy, not “economic anxiety”, just an endless desire to punish stand-ins for the Mommy who forced them take a bath, even if it tanks their own quality of life.

I’m reading a book from 90 years ago and it has a scene where the MC is trying to get his girlfriend to consummate their relationship and at the last minute she refuses because he didn’t bring a condom. Those who say “old” books aren’t relatable need to look harder

I feel like conversations don’t happen on social media anymore. I used to have fun back-and-forths with moots and now it’s just posting into the void or maybe brief reactions. The online world isn’t feeling like a community.

Today was the worst day for traffic because not only was every street I took under construction, I also saw a case of road rage in which a driver spat on and threw water at another car as they aggressively called the driver names.
