I'm a devotee of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo since 1964. Director, Savitri Era Learning Forum (SELF), President, Savitri Era Party, and Founder, Savitri Era Religion (2006). https://savitriera.blogspot.com/
By somewhat ratifying the notion of Nation-soul what Sri Aurobindo intended is giving geographical, racial, religious, and linguistic units an identity and sense of purpose as instruments of evolution and emergence of which Development or Technology aren't the only external signs #TusarNathMohapatra

Before launching Savitri Era Religion two decades back, I had full one decade of experience in selling The Mother & Sri Aurobindo's books. Canvassing for their philosophy and convincing varieties of strangers to buy at Delhi Book Fairs in Pragati Maidan gave me a lot of insights. #TusarNathMohapatra

People would have been cured of their misconceptions easily had they cared to read my posts. I'm writing since 2005 and anyone searching Sri Aurobindo would definitely find my Savitri Era site. Domain knowledge is vital & I don't think anyone else can provide a better perspective #TusarNathMohapatra

The Mother was in Puducherry and I got to know about her in my village in ଓଡିଶା Odisha as a child sixty years ago. ନବଜ୍ଯୋତି Navajyoti, a quarterly magazine published by Sri Aurobindo Ashram kept the flame alive. The weekly ପାଠଚକ୍ର Study Circle movement replicated Bhagabata Tungi. #TusarNathMohapatra

The Mother was in France and Sri Aurobindo in England but there was no contact. That sacred moment came when The Mother arrived in Puducherry and both met for the first time on March 29, 1914. A new story for the mankind began: Savitri Era Religion. A new hope and a new adventure #TusarNathMohapatra

While doing work or taking food, concerns over body or age-related issues come to the fore. Even while listening to music also that wistful feeling for the past precipitates. But during the time my mind is engaged in reading or writing, it's a seamless, neutral, ever-young space! #TusarNathMohapatra

The secular atmosphere promoted by Congress was a given in the first half of my life. But the second half has seen discordant rumblings of Hindutva. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo have a stake in both the scenarios. Extracting that golden mean would mean tons of goodwill and sagacity #TusarNathMohapatra

My concept of the Market approximates to Sri Aurobindo's Integral Advaita. It can be called Marketime or simply Logistics, considering its dynamic nature. Thus nothing is outside the Market. Further not taking any action also amounts to action as popularised by P.V. Narasimha Rao #TusarNathMohapatra

Political battle between different religions go on uninterrupted, but Savitri Era Religion reminds of the transcendent. The Mother & Sri Aurobindo talk about evolution of the inherent divine consciousness towards truth, perfection, and endlessness. All are invited to collaborate! #TusarNathMohapatra

Many misconceptions and prejudices against The Mother float around and hence her modern ideas are rarely appreciated. I don't know how far this has been addressed in her recent biography by Peter Heehs. All may not worship her as Supreme Divine but must give her credit where due. #TusarNathMohapatra

The Mother announced descent of Supramental consciousness, in principle, on February 29, 1956. Being born on January 22, 1956, it holds a special significance for me. Nothing perceptible can be noticed till now but Savitri Era Religion means to be expectant for every next moment. #TusarNathMohapatra

Learnt about The Journey to the West which seems be dealing with inner journey like Savitri. I don't know if anyone has done such a comparison. Prema Nandakumar's A Study of Savitri was my favourite which concentrates on Western sources. Need to take Sri Aurobindo to the East too #TusarNathMohapatra

We are conditioned to a cyclic nature of our existence. First the day and night schedule and next the seasons and festivals forming an annual merry-go-round. The third of course is Birth-growth-and-death leading to Rebirth. However, The Mother & Sri Aurobindo remind of evolution. #TusarNathMohapatra

Savitri Era Religion grew out of my personal circumstances. Google was born today in 1998. I had also shifted to my new home in Shipra Riviera five months earlier in the same year. A computer and Internet arrived in 2005. Google provided free Blogspot. And Savitri Era took birth. #TusarNathMohapatra

Savitri Era Religion owing allegiance to The Mother & Sri Aurobindo is free from mythology, tradition, and rituals. It has no connection with any other religion or philosophy. Worshipping them as the one Supreme Divine is the only requisite without any initiation or intermediary.

Hindutva has imprisoned Sri Aurobindo in Uttarpara. He is nothing beyond the speech he delivered there. His Puducherry period, and whatever he wrote there, is completely ignored. They are of no use! Still better than the Congress and the Left for whom Sri Aurobindo doesn't exist! #TusarNathMohapatra

"It was the hour before the Gods awake." And, I go to bed. "We do not belong to the past dawns, but to the noons of the future." Not being interested in dawn, I sleep through the forenoon and get up at noon. That's perhaps the timings for the Future man! "Hour of the unexpected." #TusarNathMohapatra

So many things are being said through videos and movies, but what's the use? It's only by writing books and articles that new facts and arguments can be presented in a forceful manner. Apart from competence, credibility of the author is also crucial. All these takes long to earn. #TusarNathMohapatra

Upholding democracy is the responsibility of each citizen. Like spirituality, practicing it in the day-to-day life is also important. Social media interactions should reflect that. Savitri Era Party, drawing inspiration from The Mother & Sri Aurobindo, is an excellent alternative #TusarNathMohapatra

Many new States have taken birth in India and creation of new Nations in future can't be ruled out. Geopolitical transformations are very much part of evolutionary plan and it would be much more profitable to explore such possibilities instead of constantly delving into the past. #TusarNathMohapatra

A compilation of his journal articles from 1942 onwards, The Meeting of the East and the West in Sri Aurobindo's Philosophy by Sisir Kumar Maitra was published in 1956. I was also born in the same year and am indebted to this book for stimulating my interest in Western philosophy #TusarNathMohapatra

Indians long for technology made by Indians. Westerners too take great care not to cross the boundary of Western philosophy. Hundreds of books are published every year but they wouldn't touch Sri Aurobindo with a barge pole. Philosophy suffers as a result and humanity as a whole. #TusarNathMohapatra

A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking had created an intellectual storm in 1988. I had come to Delhi the same year, and read a long review of it in Caravan. Later, I read The Dancing Wu Li Masters (1979) by Gary Zukav. All these were interesting, but Sri Aurobindo stood out. #TusarNathMohapatra

Ascent and descent as represented by the two triangles forming Sri Aurobindo's symbol is a unique ontological formulation highlighting the ongoing evolution. The same has been told as the joint action of aspiration and grace in The Mother book. All life is yoga is very much this. #TusarNathMohapatra

I left Odisha and came to Delhi in 1988 and since then, it has been a fruitful period of learning and getting oriented with diverse fields. However, my optimism has dwindled over the years due to failure of politics in stimulating any positive change. Let's pray to Sri Aurobindo. #TusarNathMohapatra
