Author & playwright based in the UK. Writes historical fiction for kids, myths and legends. Loves cats, Mediterranean cooking, baking, vintage.
Chapter 2 of The Case of the Blue Mask goes live At Fiction Express today. It features an incident inspired by something that happened to me on the set of The Golden Voyage of Sinbad. Eons later I met the director at a book signing. He remembered the incident. "We had to reshoot," he said.

Imagine all the People

The conservatory was one of the things that drew me to my new house. While my new kitchen was being installed, it was a storeroom. Now it has a wooden floor & seating. I’m planning to replace the blinds with curtains made out of cotton shawls I bought in Egypt. What do you all think?

Managed to nab a much-needed day out before the storms hit over the weekend. Beautiful Beverley. If the minster looks familiar, it’s because it’s often used as a stan in for Westminster Abbey in films.

I’m really chuffed with my new kitchen diner. I might even end up writing at the kitchen table like in days of yore.
