While this heyday of “open borders” on BlueSky may be en vogue, I’ll eventually be scrutinizing as I do elsewhere. 🤷🏾♂️

Part of my trepidation in adding this “Not Twitter”, was the concern on if I’d even make regular use of it. Don’t get me wrong, infinitely better than supporting Musk or Zucc. But I find myself using this even less than the last “microblog” utility.

Given detrimental effects of pavlovian conditioning by "social" media that isn't terribly social and refuses to be as accountable as the media, it's a rare thing to so much as hear from a truly open mind, let alone swim upstream against motivated reasoning and convince someone of... anything.

I used to refrain from calling those who disagreed with me "Idiots" as the road to Dunning-Kruger, and they may have read or learned some insights that I'm missing.
