I think, reason 1 is not as strong as you think the consumers of art are not going to care enough to matter. As for reason 2 there will be some bursting of the bubble, the hype running out. But the toothpaste is not going back in the tube. Meanwhile AI will continue to improve.

This is why AI will "win". The consumers of the end products generally don’t care or understand the act of creation. There is a big market for the end products and a tiny one where the particulars of the act of creation matters.

I realize this is different for a lot of people, but my feelings and thoughts are not words. Turning them into words can destroy them. Even if you manage to find some that feel mostly right.

This is a real tension in the right wing coalition. The racist wing wants honest to God deportations of all Latinos, the business wing wants *the threat of* deportations as a way to create a group of second class laborers they can exploit with no rights.
