I get a little tense when getting a needle, but that’s usually quick and my dentists keep the needle out of sight. I’ve had shallow cavities done without a needle. The worst for me is the clamps for dental dams. After that I pay attention to try to make sure they have good access to work.

Good idea. On a related note, on @mgeist.bsky.social ‘s podcast there was a suggestion about suspending select patents to allow Canadian companies to use those patents without requiring licensing for a fixed period of time.
