This week’s #showmeyourknits is spotlighting indie dyers and designers. I frequently use indie yarns but honestly have no idea what a non-indie designer is.

One more sleeve to go plus for some reason I’m not done with the neck.
Still a lil sad that I didn’t have enough of the orange yarn for the sleeves but the contrast sleeves are growing on me. It does look like a layered tshirt when I try it on.

Another #showmeyourknits horror story: my one and only felt project.
The bag was a lot smaller than it should have been and it lost the rich color. Plus the felting itself was wonky.
I feel like felting has the potential to waste a lot of yarn so I never tried it again.

From 08. Using Ann Budd’s hat formula, I designed this hat based on something I saw in a magazine. Was for a friend who had lost a fav similar hat.
I failed to write out the pattern & she lost it within 48hrs when it fell out of her bike basket. We still cry over it.

Was very excited to find the whole collection of Rivers of London graphic novels at Uncle Hugo’s Sci Fi bookstore in Minneapolis. Sad I couldn’t buy all of them.

The Minneapolis Institute of Art was an impressive surprise. Five stars.
Except this situation that curiously wasn’t in the exhibit on weird Renaissance art. Looks like AI made it.

Realizing that every knit project this year has been fraught.
This salmon yarn was for another project but I couldn’t get gauge. Then it became clear that I’m going to lose yarn chicken w this patt.
