Still need to get rid of more ivy, but my back yard is amazing in the spring.
Flowering shrub, think it’s an Oregon grape, but really have no idea. Anyway, shrubby and green with yellow blooms. Small yellow blooms. And Ivy. In a redwood forest/my back yard.

Photograph of the last thing a bug sees as a bare foot descends upon it. Assuming a bug sees exactly as I do, that is. I do not know many bugs personally, so I cannot confirm whether this is the case or not. I tried asking the ant on my windowsill, but he or she or they ignored me, which was rather rude. The kale is of the monster variety, as can be seen by the waviness of the leave . . . oh, wait, the leaves have been stripped of the tender portions, just leaving the hard shafts. You'll have to trust me on this. The avocado is whatever was being sold at Costco. I don't pay attention to these things, so I can't tell you whether it was a Hass (Haas? Haus? Oh Henry!?) or some other variety. No, I have no idea what those reddish splotches are.

Orchid on stairs.
Blurry white and purple orchid flowers. Or maybe they are violet. The color, not the flower. I know the difference between an orchid and a violet. I just don't know my violet or magenta or a lot of other shades of purple from actual purple. I really need to pick up a color wheel or a Pantone color chart or something. Anyway, it is a blurry photo of flowers. Because there are far too many well-composed, expertly edited photographs on this site, and I felt the 'net needed a change. So yes, purple and white or magenta and white or violet and white orchid flowers, as seen while rushing down stairs.
