Right? Most of the stuff happening currently is just so stupid and literally unbelievable, if you ever put it in a book, the editor would tell you, "not believable, do over".

Sorry, doesn't ring true to me. In the past, Capitol cops have literally pushed their way into gov agencies to allow DOGE to enter after employees resisted letting them in, since they have zero authority to do so.
