Had a good time surveying egg masses with The Wetland Conservancy today. Only found a couple egg masses, long tired salamander and chorus frogs. Consolation prize was seeing all this activity from a very busy community of beavers. The beaver lodge was a first for me and that thing was big!!!

Volunteering with Friends of Trees yesterday went great! am proper sore but glad I could do the work, since I’ve been dealing with back and sciatic pain. It was a wonderful morning helping these folks plant ginkgos, dogwoods, and more.
