Catching up on an entire childhood of vaccines when you have needle anxiety and chronic pain sucks, but the nice pharmacist who made sure I got 3 different colored bandaids (blue on other arm not pictured) made it just a little more fun!

I spent a week of what was, in retrospect, probably a mild breakdown trying to perfect the sandwich Pete talks up on Mad Men. Pastrami, cole slaw, Russian dressing on rye. It was good af but I never made it again once the madness passed.

My sister in law was gifted one of these mugs from a breakfast restaurant chain back home and I have coveted it for YEARS, but live 2.5K miles away. By the time I got to one myself they had stopped selling them… so shout out to the waitress who encouraged my best friend to just steal one 🥰

My best friend in Phoenix sent me home with 5 bulbs of garlic he bought off 🧄🧄🧄 (iykyk) so today I made confit and baked some bread. I’m feeling SO domesticated.

Was it as cheap as suits get? Yes. But you can bet your ass the guy stopped him from buying black separates to wear together and made him do two different greys instead, and there was NO annoying little triangle of shirt visible below the jacket button, and there was NO COLLAR GAP!

Me and my queer disability group had our first IRL gathering at the art museum this weekend and it was free, fun, and SUPER accessible on many levels, a very good wholesome time. It warmed my little grinch heart.

Post you from a different era

Or, uh, gender? Back when I had hair and still sincerely believed I was a woman, just sorta bad at it!

this is what happens if you don’t (and your clothes will never dry) no matter HOW good you are about cleaning out the lint filter every time

My chronically ill kitty Louise sends her love ❤️

God decided to cut me a single fucking break: Louise sat on my lap for the first time 🥹

This silly goober had her allergy testing done today, and hopefully once we get results back we can start allergy shots by the end of the month! Never have I had a cat who needed this much medical care in under a year, but she’s super cute and easy to medicate so I’m counting my blessings.

Last week James Dobson, destroyer of children’s spirits, became one with the darkness he crafted for so many children here on earth. 🧵

I have cried with joy watching my friends celebrate and cried with rage watching my friends grieve today. There are so many childhoods we will never get back, mine included. To all of James Dobson’s victims: I love you. Your memories matter to me.

Thanks to my many friends who raced to tell me the news

Sometime very recently, I went to log a read on Storygraph and while there got a screenshot od the most comically long list of content warnings I’ve ever seen on a book. The kicker? I can’t even remember what book this was, less than 3 weeks later, so the shock factor didn’t work at all I guess!

Something tells me this sizing chart is either wrong, or they specialize in humans shaped a way I have never seen a person be shaped before. Even as someone who bemoans how huge the waist to hip ratio always is on me, six to ten inches SMALLER in the hips sure doesn’t seem to be the solution 🤔

Just tried adding alt text for this flyer I was sharing on Facebook, because as a disability group it sure seems we should be making sure people who use alt text can see it, and Facebook yelled at me for going over *100 CHARACTERS* 🙃

it is 75 degrees with a cool breeze in the shade and I think this constitutes living

Look at this beautiful fuckin’ heirloom I got for today’s sandwich, I love her

Incredibly grateful for a day (barely) below 90 with low humidity and a bit of breeze, so I was able to take little sister and husband out to dinner and ice cream. Still doing outdoor dining only is usually so hard in the summer when I can’t tolerate the heat, it was nice to get a chance!
