I took tablets away after ch 2. It’s been 2 wks, results were immediate. More positive interaction w/my kids, less insane behavior (meltdowns, mania, catatonic in front of screens). We just had a great 3 day weekend without screens among 6 of our close friend families. The results were clear.

I totally get your point, but the data actually tells the story. If you’ve noticed how kids with unfettered access to tech act like they’re in withdrawal when you take it away, it’s all there. It’s programming them in the most developmental stages of life.

I ended up with some nice visitors in this intentional, circumstantial wildflower and weed garden. Birds, butterflies, toads, hummingbirds… mission accomplished. I’ve cultivated a little harmony in this little pocket garden and it feels nice.

My goal is to reclaim this wild space and make it a cottage core bee garden. Removed a bunch of dandelions and clover. Planted some shrubs. TBC…

Borage – Attracts pollinators, improves soil, and is considered a good companion for many plants. It’s also medicinal.

Calendula – Sometimes confused or grouped with chamomile, but offers antimicrobial and soil healing properties, while attracting beneficial insects.

Comfrey – This is one of the most common companions in such a guild. It’s a powerhouse for biomass production, dynamic nutrient accumulation, and mulching. Its deep taproots mine minerals from subsoil, and it’s often planted as a “nurse plant” or ground cover.
