(Also, for those who are not clear on my tone: I think it's fabulous Ms. Yarros is doing so well. Her books bring people to stores, where they will pick up other books, and while they are waiting for the next book from her they will read other stuff. Blockbuster books are good for everyone, y'all)

Getting to those numbers would require something along the lines of ~$215M a year in subscription revenues for Substack. Currently, Substack takes a 10% cut of subscription prices from writers on its platform. So, uhhh... they'd need $2.9 *billion* in reader-paid subs. (Counting payment fees.)
