That’s one of the reasons I, a Bullshit fan, was frustrated hearing Penn talk about libertarian politics. Because he couldn’t see the contradiction.
I think he fell into the trap of believing he was representative of party values. Which is why it’s nice to see him take a stand when he saw he wasn’t

A reason that anti-mask rally was a turning point, was that he thought it was gonna be anti-over regulation. He thought it was going to be about “we don’t need regulations to do what’s right” aka wearing masks. Then when he found what it actually was it shattered his illusion of libertarianism

I love this song, it’s one of my favourites, so to get a history of it was great, if sad.
This entire series, both the original and follow-up is so powerful and heartbreaking. After the end of this episode I couldn’t stop sobbing for 5 minutes.
