i started trying to decipher dread and this was literally the first thing i found from using a greek keyboard:
literally, it's a derogatory proverb: "even though the wolf got old and his hair became white, he changed neither his opinion nor his head"

made a big breakthrough on #eliksni personal pronouns over lunch.
quite excited. the more i'm able to fill in the blanks, the more everything else will fall into place.
they basically took ancient greek personal endings, made them personal beginnings instead, and thus, only use the athematic form.

i also gotta say it’s so funny that LASO became such a big thing that they name-drop my silly acronym in the forefront of halo’s marketing these days.
i guess now’s as good a time as any to try and finish that documentary of its origins.
