I’ve been a couple of times (Sundays). The first time I went I was there for almost the whole event and it was fairly busy from mid afternoon well into the evening. The last time I went a bit later and it was busy when I arrived but thinned out around 8-9pm.

A top once said something to me very similar to what your top said. I’d not cleaned well enough for a quickly organised meet. I did feel bad about it but he tried to reassure me. Other occasions I’ve topped men who weren’t clean and it’s not a big deal. Try not to beat yourself up about it.

I’d not object to some advertising banners along the route, if it helped cover the organisational costs, but absolutely no corporate floats. Enough of that shit.

Of course that will need all the community members who, frequently, complain about the commercialisation not complaining when there isn’t a rainbow music festival. Maybe a smaller event will better serve the LGBTQ community and not attract so many straight hangers on.
