Everything hand embroidered by me, based on 17th century Hungarian dress. This dress takes awhile to lace myself into, but I love it a whole lot.

It's still warm enough for me to wear this dress and jacket I recently finished! I was inspired by the Korean jogakbo patchwork technique.
Mostly hand sewn, as I was on a family holiday and needed some relaxing hand sewing. 1000 flat-felled seams may not be relaxing to some, but it is to me 😅

But if you want it to be totally flat in front, putting drapery weights in front might help...otherwise you may have to add some ties on the inside that go behind you to hold the front closer to your body, kind of as seen here

I had SO MUCH FUN wearing this, I hope everyone's prepared to be assaulted by a goose at every convention I'm at from now on. The eyes also light up red, because geese are demonic dinosaurs.
